If y'all have any that ya want to trade I may trade some MT's for some , depending what ya have and ditto I'm sure .

I've never been a big Strider fan myself, but I know they have a following.  I suspect there are fellow Strider guys lurking around here somewhere.  [smile]

Mick Strider is a convicted felon who lied about his military career.  I will never own one of his knives or anything associated with him.

USAF taught me to nuke millions of innocent people ... got damn good at it too.  It forged me into a warrior and no one hates war like a warrior.

Interesting Chief ! I will have to look into this . If true that sucks , and may change my mind about interest in Strider .

But It seems they did build a HD knife with a cult following .

Guess the article below can be posted here to say "Adios Strider".

They're going out of business. Can't say I'll miss them:

ETA: for what it's worth, it's now being said that this article is a mistake and that they're not going out of business.
Whatever...

Never been a big fan of Strider knives myself. Like a lot of makers, it's a love hate thing.

Roger that.  Mad Dog Knives might be in a similar boat.  I don't own many MDKs these days, in fact I think only have an Arizona Hunter left, but at one point I had a fair sized kennel of McClung's puppies.

I've looked at quite a few of the Striders and I just don't get the appeal. I've come across a few makers who have a big fan base but for me their knives are just not my thing. A couple of makers that come to mind for me - Hinderer, Medford, get huge bucks for their products. But after looking around, I see them make collaborations with other makers and I cant help but wonder why kill your own brand?

And no offense intended to anyone, but I have NO IDEA why anyone pays the kind of money they do for a Busse Knife (sorry Stabber). Biggest lawn mower blade company I've ever seen, and yet they drive the crowd at Blade into a frenzy to get a knife
