image.jpg  image.jpg  image.jpg  Hey Vinny, no arguments here. I think the Mini Socom Elites are the Bees Knees☺️....
I think they were only produced between 2003 and 2005, and as it stands I have one example from each of those production years...
Top- 12/2003 m/a “Socom Elite” as marked on blade,  I just got this one but the clip is missing, I didn’t notice it when I bid on the auction...it wouldn’t have kept me from picking it up. And that is not an easy clip to find plus it has the proprietary screws that hold it in.
Middle- 03/2004 m/a full OD green..On this one you’ll notice the factory pivot screw is missing it broke when I tried to tighten it right after I bought the knife. I know how the pivot system works but I STILL thought I could get rid of that tiny tiny bit of blade wiggle...I learned my lesson🙄...I was able to back out the threaded portion of the screw with some needle nose pliers and then replaced it with a pivot screw from one of my cold steel knives..😳...horror of horrors...
Bottom- 03/2005 MSE-SC...”Mini Socom Elite-Seatbelt Cutter”...this one has a little more use on it than the other two, and the  previous owner tapped and threaded a hole for the pocket clip at the butt end of the handle to get deeper carry in the pocket....
So they’re not all minty fresh, I enjoy them and I love the model...the Socom ..big/small...old/new..🤷🏼‍♂️
I do wish the new blade grinds on the current ones were a little thinner/delicate, but that’s about all I can say against the model...I’m a FAN
