This was my second Microtech after the HALO hooked me. I used this as a EDC before Indiana repealed the switchblade law. The edge was pretty brittle, so I had to be careful what I did with it.

I don’t carry it anymore. What kind of value do these have? It is definitely a pocket-worn condition, but I still have the (ugly gold) box and original sheath.

If you have only the knife, in well cared for condition I’d say 250 minimum. The manual mini Socom are a perfect little knife, serrated slightly less collectible. Yours has another 20 years of solid use in it. Hope this helps

oh, no. I am a pack rat. I still have the original box and papers along with the sheath and the little piece of cordage.

It's great you have the box/papers/sheath for this one. There appears to be some condition issues (chips and blade discoloration) and that affects value. I would say 275 tops, but I am not an expert, just my opinion. Again, great little knife w plenty of life remaining. Here's a few of mine
