I have a LCC D/A 11/2000 that is in need of repair.  It doesn't like to reset after firing from the bolster. It takes a a few tries to get it to "reset" back in the closed position for auto opening.   Does anyone besides Micortech repair these old school knives? It would also be nice to have the blade polished and sharpened as well.  It was a user when I bought it a few years back. Overall spa treatment is due.

Thanks for any recommendations.

Had similar issue and Microtech fixed it by resurfacing the spring where it contacts the release tab.  Recommend sending it back to MT with an RMA number.  If you need help getting it returned (non auto friendly state), any decent Microtech dealer can take care of you.

Thanks Chief; I'll reach out to Microtech and see if I can get it done.  I live in Florida, which is pretty much the wild west, so I should be good to go sending it direct.  I was just hopeful that there may be some skilled tinkerers who might be available, rather then send it back.

Your reply is much appreciated.
