So among my collection is a particular Halo.  This halo has a tanto blade that has clearly written on it (among other things) HALO III.  The weird thing is, the body is a Halo II body.  I recently saw a Halo 2.3 up for sale and it got me to thinking about this oddity.  So, is there a HALO 3.2 or what?

Perhaps it was Frankensteined along the way by some one other than Microtech, wouldn't be the first time. ...Also a pic would help.

OK, first of all that's not a H2 handle/Body. ...It's clearly a H3.

This is a H2 Body/Handle, hope the pic helps?:

I guess I was going off the screw placements more than the body curves.  But yeah, comparing the curve points it's a Halo III body, just not the normal Halo III screw positions.

The two screws forward of the button was a H3 "improvement" sometime around 2000, H3 Models prior to 2001 had the single screw..

Another pic for you, all H3's -except for the APM- check out the Museum for more pics.
